Meet Our Founder
Devi Narayan is the Founder and CEO of Autnhive, a cybersecurity company delivering liability-first security through SAMI, its Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) platform. SAMI identifies real, exploitable risk across IT, cloud, IoT/OT, third-party vendors, and AI by continuously assessing environments, simulating attacks, and monitoring live conditions. By validating what can actually be exploited and prioritizing remediation based on business impact, Autnhive helps organizations move from reactive security to measurable, defensible risk reduction.
In addition to leading Autnhive, Narayan serves as an Advisory Board Member at the MIT Geospatial Lab, where he contributes strategic insight at the intersection of geospatial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
Narayan’s career spans scientific research, law enforcement, intelligence analysis, and entrepreneurship. Originally trained as a dentist, he authored multiple research papers published in journals of the American Periodontal Association before leaving the field to pursue broader ambitions. His unconventional path led him to a distinguished career in law enforcement, where he earned multiple commendations and played key roles in cyber breach and major financial crime investigations.
He has received advanced education and certifications in Intelligence and Crime Analysis from California State University–Sacramento and the California Department of Justice, along with Major Financial Crime Investigation training from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Major Crimes Investigator programs. These experiences shaped his expertise in extracting actionable intelligence from complex data—skills that later informed his leadership of high-performing business intelligence and cybersecurity teams.
A recognized thought leader, Narayan is a frequent speaker on cybersecurity, having presented at conferences, industry events, law enforcement training programs, and universities. His work reflects a deep commitment to advancing practical, intelligence-driven security strategies in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
